How do I make phpBB2 work?

I have a Domain name and hosting, but I dont know how to make my forum work with phpBB. I uploaded it with a FTP software. But it wont work theres no forum on my site.....Why is this how can I make it work?

PHPBB or any bbs will need to be setup after you have ftpd the files. You need to create a database for it. Then run the setup

Once all the files have been uploaded to your site you should point your browser to this location, eg. http://www.mysite.tld/phpBB2 or http://subdomain.mysite.tld/, etc. Of course replace these with the real location! Everything from this point is fully automated.

It will setup, you just have a small amount to do once the files are loaded to your sever. I assume your server supports MySql and PHP code!

i haven%26#039;t personally done it before but i beleive you need a server-side software that will execute the code for php (any kind of php) to work
