How to build a website like this.....?

I want to create an artist website for myself like this:

I like it because it%26#039;s straightforward, easy to navigate and not full of garbage. It just looks clean and professional.

Where to I start to accomplish this?

I don%26#039;t know much about building a website except that I do not want a free website with ads all over it. Can I pay a hosting site like geocities and get a domain name and design something comparable?

Is there a better hosting service than this, I%26#039;m trying to avoid problems down the line...like when you see sites down or no longer working or problems switching if you have to later, so I%26#039;m weary of going with a lesser known company.

Thanks for any suggestions. Again, I don%26#039;t know much about building a website so any advice you can give is much appreciated.

I dont know how much capital you have but the best software I have found for building sofware is web studio. www.webstudio.com Easy to use and you can do anything with it. The tech support will expalin everthing you need to know step by step if you have questions
